I'll stamp all over 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really happening.
